The Board Members for Torngat Regional Housing Association met in Goose Bay couple weeks ago.

William Lucy is the Co-ordinator of Torngat Regional Housing Association.

He says the Association received its annual Capital Budget Funds of $1,383,000 from Nunatsiavut Government.

There are 4 new homes allocated for Nain for the upcoming construction season, 2 for Hopedale, and 1 each for the Towns of Makkovik and Rigolet.

He adds Postville has $41,000 for the repair program, Makkovik $25,000 and Rigolet $21,000, and Nain and Hopedale did not.

Lucy says Nain was the Town which applied for most houses and the repair program.
